Ilse DeLange, Waylon To Represent Netherlands in Eurovision Song Contest

Dutch singer Ilse DeLange and Waylon will represent the Netherlands at the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest in Copenhagen, Denmark. The Common Linnets. Photo: Michel Mölder The two artists have joined together to form The Common Linnets and are poised to represent the Netherlands at Europe's favorite TV show in May, broadcaster Avrotros said. They will also work on a new album. This year in Malmö, the Netherlands achieved something they have not managed since 2004 - to qualify for the Grand Final. The 2014 Eurovision Song Contest will take place at the B&W-Hallerne on Refshaleøen in Copenhagen on the May 6, May 8 and May 10. The Dutch team will participate in one of the two Semi-Finals, a draw for which will take place in January.
