Advent to Acquire Dutch Software Maker For $1.6B

Advent International has entered into an agreement to acquire Dutch software maker Unit4 NV for about €1.15 billion, Bloomberg News reports. Software / Wikipedia In a deal supported by both management and supervisory boards, Unit4 investors will receive €38.75 in cash for each share they hold, the companies said in a joint statement. The acquisition will accelerate Unit4’s transition into a provider of enterprise software as a service, according to the statement. Unit4 NV is based Sliedrecht, Netherlands.
