20 German tips on Heul girl
Thanks to the popular German investigative show "Aktenzeichen XY Ungelöst," police received twenty tips about the murdered 'Heul' girl . Among them are also five possible names of the murdered girl, who was found in 1976 in The Netherlands.
The names are German, but the police don't know yet if it indeed concerns German girls.
So far the police discovered the Heul Girl is known spent the first seven years of her life in the German Eifel. The last few months of her life were probably spent For at least a year she was on a very unbalanced diet, which may indicate she was held captive, according to the police. The girl was about 12 to 15 years old when she died.
The cold case team received a tip earlier this week with a new name of a now elderly man who might know more about the fate of the Heul Girl. Police are looking for two men between 70 and 80 years, whom reportedly were known to have dumped a girl's body in Maarsbergen.
Because the German police also sent a press release to the German media, the Dutch police are anticipating receiving more tips from Germany.
Dutch detectives will investigate all the tips and relay any follow-up questions to their German counterparts .
