More People Struggling to Pay Mortgage

The number of people having difficulty paying the mortgage debt is still increasing, according to the latest barometer of mortgage published by debt administration agency BKR. The increase, however, was lower between April and September this year, compared with the previous six months. In the period April-September, there were 9,924 consumers in arrears on their mortgage, representing a 12.1% increase. Mortgage - Free Digital Photos In the six months before April 1, the increase was 13.2%. The total households in mortgage debt were 91,812 on Oct. 1.
