Officers see fleeing man fall from sky

The Hague police officers saw a man from the Dominican Republic literally fall from the sky Saturday morning. The 29-year-old man had jumped from a second story window a moment earlier to escape other police officers. Officers had gone to the property on the Zacharias Jansen Street that morning to take a testimony from one of the residents. There were seven men in the home, and when the police noticed a firearm cartridge, they decided to apprehend everyone present on suspicion of possession of a firearm. Politielogo

Alarmed officers, who just arrived at the property to transport the suspects, saw the man come down on the sidewalk in front of them, according to the police report. The Dominican sustained multiple fractures due to the fall and is hospitalized, seriously injured. After his hospital stay he may be in for a prison stay. Three firearms and narcotics were found in the house. The other suspects, also Dominican, were arrested and interrogated.
