Heijmans to Build Kanaleneiland Centre’s third part

Heijmans has entered agreements with Syntrus Achmea Real Estate and Finance, Rabobank Utrecht, the municipality of Utrecht and the Mitros housing association to construct the third part of the Kanaleneiland Centre. Under the agreements, Heijmans will develop and construct the Kanaleneiland Centre’s third part, which comprises 86 homes and 230 parking places and a district service centre, the company said in a statement. Kanaleneiland Centre Syntrus Achmea will acquire 50% these homes for its portfolio, while Mitros will acquire 36% for its residential property stock. The municipality of Utrecht will become the owner of the district service centre. The project is valued at €20 million. The project is expected to be completed by the end of 2015.
