Death threat Zeeland group 8 via Instagram

Group 8b of the Vlissingen School De Wissel received death threats and shocking pictures last week through the social network Instagram, reported the police Tuesday evening. At least 20 students received the messages, which includes real names of eighth graders. Mainly images are posted on Instagram , but it's also possible to send texts. The threats came to light on Friday in class, after which the school decided this weekend to file a police report. Flickr The gate policy for The Wissel has been adjusted. For now only one gate and the front door will be unlocked, and at some point those will be locked as well, according to a police spokesperson. Police and judicial authorities regard this as a serious matter. It could well be a bad joke of a peer, but one can only find that out afterwards. For now it seems, however, that someone's really angry with this class, states the police informant. More than 200 parents of students from the school, from both school locations were briefed Tuesday night in a nearby church. Mayor Letty Demmers, the Public Prosecution, Victim Support, and the GGD Health Authority also attended the evening. Although the threat was directed specifically to group 8b, De Wissel wanted to inform all the parents, to confirm the identity and unity of the school, according to the police.
