Long-term traffic disruption on A28

Rijkswaterstaat (Ministry of Infrastructure and Environment) will start extensive road work on the A28 between Beilen and Hoogeveen on Friday evening. The freeway will be broadened in both directions. Consequence is that until October 28 there will only be two lanes available during the day and one at night. The speed limit during the day will be 90km/hr and 70km/hr at night. Furthermore, some ramps will be closed. The Beilen ramp (exit 30) will be closed from Friday, October 25th 21:00 until through Monday, October 28th. Other ramps will not be closed for more than half an hour. The precise planning depends on the work progress and the weather. A28 Meppel_Beilen
