Exercise Schiphol interrupted after weapon reported

An exercise at Schiphol airport on Thursday was aborted because someone was seen carrying a firearm.At 22.15hr a spokesman for the military police at Schiphol reported there must have been confusion. No weapon was found. Possibly the informant was confused because of the exercise. The report came in from a Schiphol employee.
