Thieves At Gay Pride Arrested

An Amsterdam court locked up six people arrested on Monday for stealing cash and other personal things at the crowded Gay Pride festivity on August 3. They will stay behind bars for a maximum of 10 weeks. Through a fast track court, 26 people, mostly Romanian nationals, were condemned for pick pocketing at the city event. There were about 340 victims who lost their money and phones. So far, at least 46 people have been arrested for the crimes. Over 500,000 people were present at the 2013 Gay Pride Festival in Amsterdam to celebrate homosexual rights.
