The airline first launched a Dubai to Amsterdam service three years ago. As of last August, the existing daily flight has made use of Airbus A380. Emirates previously deployed a B777 for both directions. The latest service will launch on December 4. It will have 266 seats in a three-class arrangement, 8 seats in first class, 42 in business and 216 in economy. Flight EK149 will leave Dubai at 16:10 and arrive in Amsterdam at 20:40. Return flight EK150 will depart from Amsterdam at 22:10 and arrive in Dubai at 07:40. "Our decision to add another daily service to Amsterdam is a direct result of a surge in customer demand," Hubert Frach, divisional senior vice president, commercial operations west, said. "The enhanced capacity and schedule will offer our customers more choice when travelling between Amsterdam and Dubai and onwards to a multitude of destinations in the Indian subcontinent, Africa, Far East and Australasia," he added.
