Chambres des Canaux Exhibition
A new exhibition Chambres des Canaux: The Tolerant Home will open on November 1 until November 17 in different venues near the Amsterdam canals.

Photo by Christian van Elven/flickr Tolerance is the exhibition's theme, inspired by the time the Canal Ring was built 400 years ago. It will showcase works by various artists including Marlene Dumas, Joep van Lieshout, Germaine Kruip, David Claerbout, Ina van Zyl and Fiona Tan, who all have different and active associations to Amsterdam. The masterpieces featured in the exhibition were selected by guest curator Siebe Tettero. The works of art represent Amsterdam’s very old tradition of tolerance. Tickets will be sold at €13 beginning on August 1 at the Visitor Information Centres at Amsterdam Central Station, Leidseplein and Amsterdam Airport Schiphol and at www.iamsterdam.com.
