Fiat-Chrysler's Possible Move to NL

Italian automaker Fiat-Chrysler could move to the Netherlands, CEO Sergio Marchionne told Reuters. FIAT's acquisition of ailing Chrysler gave it a way back into the US market for the first time in a generation
skinnylawyer/Wikimedia Commons The company’s registration to the Netherlands may happen after the merger of the two parties. “It's possible,” Marchionne said. Fiat's sister company, Fiat Industrial has recently transferred its corporate head office to the Netherlands following the completion of the joining of its U.S. branch CNH. The merge is set to complete in the fall. The company is under discussions with Chrysler's minority shareholder, VEBA, to acquire the 41.5% stake not in its possession. A Delaware court is likely to decide on a price disagreement with VEBA by the end of the month. Source: Reuters
