Tom Snikkers to Join NL Team

www.hollandsentinel.com /Google Images Snikkers is no. 8 on Calvin’s all-time scoring list. He led the Knights to win an MIAA title in the previous season. He averages 13.4 points per game. He also received the Division III Honorable Mention All-American title. “The team can only have four American players, and because my dad was born in the Netherlands I can get dual citizenship and count as one of the European players,” Snikkers said. Snikkers’ Calvin colleagues who are now members of the Dutch basketball league include Rietema, Brink, Huizenga, and De Vries.  He is one of the two Calvin graduates to sign with international professional basketball leagues in 2014.
