Peeters considered the cooperative trip as a “historic" moment. It is the first time that both regions have mutually arranged a trade operation, with over 90 companies participating. "It's nice to see so many people who are going to make a lot of money the coming days,” Rutte said. Kris Peeters said it is an expected coalition. "Flanders and the Netherlands have a lot to offer. We have open economies which are being fuelled by our ports, we share the same language, culture and history. This natural alliance had to be continued in a joint mission." Rutte said Flanders and the Netherlands are small but with cooperation, they are influential. Source: Flandersnews.be / Expatica
