Princesses' Dress Designer Overwhelmed
The Spanish designer of the dresses that the Dutch princesses wore on the day of the crowning has been overwhelmed with requests from companies around the world, which want to sell his clothing line.
RTL.nl reported that the Spanish firm Pili Carrera from the Galician place Mos supplied the dresses for Amalia, Alexia and Ariane. In the Netherlands alone, the company has already received six requests.
The owner of Pili Carrera said that he also received requests from other countries. “We never expected this.” The worldwide attention is the best ‘birthday present’ the company, which will have existed for 50 years in 2013, could receive. Carrera expects a major expansion because of the princesses.
