Fries With Weed Sauce

A fast food chain is going to sell French fries with weed sauce in Amsterdam and Utrecht. To create the sauce, Albert van Beek added a cannabis concentrate to a base of Flemish mayonnaise. According to NOS.nl, the light green sauce with pieces of leaf will not make consumers intoxicated as it does not contain the stimulating substance THS. The owner developed the idea for the sauce while he was working in his cafeteria on the Damrak in Amsterdam, enveloped in the weed smell of the coffee shop. He said, “People are curious about the taste of weed.”
