Young Polish couple found dead in Dronten field

The bodies of a young couple from Poland were found in a field near the Flevoland town of Dronten over the weekend. They were reported missing earlier in the week. The police are investigating how they died.

"There are currently no indications of a crime," the police said in a statement.

The first body was found on Saturday afternoon near Hanzeweg. The police identified him as a 19-year-old man from Poland. The second body, a 20-year-old woman from Poland, was found "a short distance" from the first body on Sunday.

According to Omroep Flevoland, the Polish couple worked in Lelystad. They were reported missing on January 31, after they left their home in Kampen.
