Body found in car on Haarlem street

A dead man was found in a red Mercedes parked on the street in Haarlem during the early hours of Monday morning. The police are investigating whether the man was murdered, the police said in a statement.

Police officers are investigating where the car was parked, at the intersection of Katdijklaan and Roolandweg. At this stage the police can't comment on whether the victim was murdered or died a natural death. The identity of the man is also unclear.

The police are calling on witnesses to come forward.
