Body wrapped in tarp found in Dutch town; murder suspected

A body was found hidden under a tarp on Turfvaartsestraat in Nispen on Wednesday morning. The police believe the victim was murdered, a spokesperson for the police said to the Telegraaf on Thursday.

A passerby found the body on the bend of a dirt road. The police are still investigating at the site. Fifteen detectives are on the case, according to the spokesperson.

So far no information was released regarding the victim's identity. Even the gender of the victim is unclear.

Nispen falls under the municipality of Roosendaal.
