Explosion severely damages Eindhoven home, no injuries

A home on Honthorststraat in Eindhoven was severely damaged by an explosion around 4:00 a.m. on Thursday morning. The police closed down the street in the Burghplan neighborhood for investigation, the police said on Twitter.

According to newspaper AD, the resident was home when the explosion happened, but managed to escape unharmed.

The home's windows were broken and several cars in the area were damaged. The home's facade also sustained damage.
