Suspect arrested in Kampen teen's rape

A 33-year-old man from Dronten was arrested on Sunday night in connection with the sexual assault of a teen girl from Kampen, the police announced on Monday. He is suspected of pulling the 17-year-old girl off her bicycle and raping her. The attack happened during the early hours of Sunday morning along Flevoweg in Kampen. The police immediately launched a large-scale investigation, which led to the arrest of the suspect.
