MP Fred Teeven hospitalized after car wreck

VVD Parliamentarian Fred Teeven sustained a substantial head injury in a car accident in Wassenaar yesterday afternoon, De Telegraaf reports. He was taken to the hospital in an ambulance. Teeven was driving his wife's Peugeot 206, which has a passenger crash rating of four stars out of five, on the N44 at the height of De Horsten estate when an Audi A6 suddenly braked before him. Teeven crashed into the Audi, shot forward and hit his head on the windshield. A total of three cars were involved in the collision. Witnesses later saw a bloodstain on Teeven's windshield.
