On Wednesday Ajax supporter Ferdi T. was sentenced to 60 hours of community service forduring a match between the two teams early this year. The court also imposed a stadium ban of two years. The 27-year-old man was found guilty of insulting and threatening Vermeer, NU.nl reports.

Ajax decided to accept the professional football prosecutor's settlement proposal for the club's punishment following an incident in which an effigy of Feyenoord player Kenneth Vermeer was lynched, the club announced in a statement. The Amsterdam club will pay a 10 thousand euro fine and their hardcore fans will not be allowed to attend the next match against Feyenoord in the Amsterdam Arena.

The prosecutor of professional football gave Ajax a settlement proposal regarding punishment for the incident in which a effigy of a black football player was lynched. The settlement includes a 10 thousand euro fine and a requirement that to sections of the stands must be empty during the next match against Feyenoord in the ArenA, the KNVB announced on Thursday.
