Nearly 40 percent of Dutch employees live and work in the same municipality, according to figures for 2015 Statistics Netherlands published on Thursday. The average Dutch worker work 22.6 kilometers from their home. Workers in the big cities and people living on the outskirts of the Netherlands, such as on the Wadden Islands, in particular tend to live where they work, NU.nl reports.
The Dutch police are following up on information from British group Bellingcat about possible ISIS sympathizers staying in a holiday park in Vaals, Limburg.
On Tuesday Bellingcat posted a photo on Twitter calling for information on where it was taken. "Can you help us crowdsource a geolocation. This photo is linked to an ISIS sympathizer living in Europe. Perhaps Germany or the Netherlands", Belingcat founder Eliot Higgins tweeted. Within an hour they concluded that the photo was taken at the holiday park HoogVaals.
