Shots were fired at a home on Rode Klaver in Uithoorn on Tuesday night, after bullet holes were already discovered in the home's front door on Tuesday morning. The police arrested a suspect in Amsterdam, NH Nieuws reports.

"Thanks to tips after the shooting, we got a view of a van that we found in Amsterdam", a police spokesperson said to NH Nieuws. "We pushed that vehicle off the road on Tongerenstraat." The driver of the van was arrested. A passenger fled on foot. The police are still looking for him.

Four men were arrested in Amstelveen on Friday when police found five bags of cannabis and a block of cocaine hidden in secret compartments of two vehicles. The police believe that a 3-year-old girl who was stabbed in a home in Uithoorn on Tuesday evening, was attacked by a neighbor who then committed suicide, NOS reports. 

The girl was stabbed in a home on Admiraal de Ruyterlaan by a woman, who fled after the attack. A short time later a woman committed suicide by jumping from an apartment building nearby. Though the suicide victim has not yet been officially identified, the police strongly believe that it is the same woman, according to NOS.

A 3-year-old girl was injured in a stabbing in a home on Admiraal de Ruyterlaan in Uithoorn on Tuesday evening. She was taken to hospital for treatment.

The incident occurred around 6:25 p.m. Exactly what happened is unclear. All the police said about the girl's injuries is that she is not in a life threatening condition.

On Burgernet the police called on local residents to look out for a woman with short, blonde hair. She was wearing a brown-green dress, a gray vest and was riding a yellow bike. A police spokesperson told Omroep Noord-Holland that she is a suspect.

A 41-year old business owner was attacked on Sunday evening while his wife and two daughters were held hostage during a robbery in their home. The incident took place at about 11:15 p.m. on Willem de Feschweg in Uithoorn, Noord Holland, police say.
