The Turkish police arrested a 24-year-old woman from Apeldoorn in the southeastern province of Sanliurfa. She is suspected of being a jihadist and a member of terrorist organization Islamic State. An Algerian who lives in the Netherlands was also arrested, NOS reports.

A bloodied, beheaded doll was found in front of the Emir Sultan Mosque in Amsterdam Noord early Thursday morning. The doll's body, found laying below the severed head attached by metal hook to a fence, had a note denouncing "Islamization" pinned to it.

"I'm asking you not to worry about this incident," mosque president Kamber Şener wrote on Facebook, saying they reported the incident to police. "I hope they will find the perpetrators as soon as they can," he continued, asking for the city to unite against such incidents.

Dutch cartoonist Ruben Oppenheimer has the Dutch government and journalist association NVJ in his corner. Oppenheimer is currently up against Turkey over a Recep Tayyip Erdogan. He and Twitter both received Turkish court orders to remove the cartoon from the social media platform.

Two Dutch-Turks are currently in custody in Greece on suspicion of involvement in a plan to kill Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan. They form part of a group that planned an attack on the Turkish president using rockets and Molotov cocktails, the Telegraaf reports.

Anil S. (25) from Amsterdam and Burak A. (23) from Eindhoven were arrested during an anti-terrorism action in Greece on November 28th. According to the newspaper, S. is on the national terrorism list, and both Dutch-Turks are affiliated with left-wing extremist group DHKP-C.

The cartoon showing him having sex with the blue Twitter bird, with the text 'Erdogan is not a goatfucker', is offensive to him. Both Oppenheimer and Twitter received a Turkish court order to remove the picture..

Haaksbergen couple Bjorn Breukers and Derya Breukers-Un received thousands of threats since their friend was found dead in Turkey in August, Bjorn said to newspaper AD. The two only recently returned from Turkey and are now back in their hometown.

People who buy contracts through the call center, have to pay more money than agreed to over the phone, among other things.

The Netherlands granted asylum to the first Turks who applied for protection after an attempted coup in Turkey last year. At least eight alleged Gulen-supporters who face persecution in Turkey now have asylum in the Netherlands, Wil Eikelboom of the association of asylum lawyers VAjN said to ANP.

A Dutch-Turkish mother and her son are unable to return to the Netherlands after visiting relatives in Turkey for a funeral. They were banned from leaving Turkey and are currently staying with family in Istanbul, the woman from Arnhem said to newspaper AD on Sunday.

"A week and a half ago we wanted to fly back to the Netherlands, but we were stopped", she said to the newspaper by telephone. "There is an investigation against me, I was told. But I did not do anything wrong. And my son has to be back in school in the Netherlands on Monday."

The body of will soon return to the Netherlands, a spokesperson for the Turkish police said to the Telegraaf. A DNA test confirmed that the body is indeed that of the missing Haaksbergen man, though the cause of his death is still unclear.

"The DNA test report arrived on Monday", the spokesperson said to the newspaper. "It will still take several weeks for the cause of death to be determined."

Twenty Turkish police officers and soldiers are searching the hills around Silifke today for missing 21-year-old from Haaksbergen. They are using specialist equipment and two sniffer dogs flown in from Ankara. The dogs are trained to sniff out bodies, AD reports.

The search started very early on Thursday morning, as the day is expected to get very hot in the afternoon.

Two of three Dutch persons that were missing in Turkey, have been found. The police made contact with 26-year-old Derya Breukers-Un and 34-year-old Bjorn Breukers. 21-year-old Joey Hoffmann, who traveled to Turkey with the couple to help them set up a new home in Silifke, is still missing.

A Dutch-Turkish man was arrested in Turkey on suspicion of insulting president Recep Tayyip Erdogan, a spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed to NU.nl. According to the charge, the man called Erdogan a "thief" and "dictator" on social media and expressed criticism of the political situation in the country.
