A Dutch father and his two sons were arrested in Belgium and Spain over the past weeks for smuggling 3,300 kilograms of cocaine into the Netherlands through the port of Antwerp. The cocaine was seized in a warehouse in Hazeldonk in January 2017. All three suspects have been extradited to the Netherlands and are in custody, the police said in a statement.
The Spanish police rescued an elderly Dutch woman and German man from what the police describe as a "horror nursing home" near the city of Cadiz. The double murder happened in Mijas, on the Costa del Sol in the Spanish province of Malaga. According to the newspaper, the murders were drug-related.

Ryanair cabin crew members in Belgium, Spain and Portugal will be striking next week Wednesday and Thursday. As a result, the Irish budget airline is canceling around 600 flights, including some to and from the Netherlands. Around 50 thousand passengers will be affected, Ryanair said.
