An employee of the police department is accused of stealing nine kilograms of cocaine and could be implicated in the disappearance of 700 grams of heroin. The 60-year-old suspect is still in custody. He was based in Amsterdam at the time the drugs went missing from an evidence facility on Johan Huizingalaan on the west side of the city, broadcaster AT5 reported last week.

Dutchman Romano van der Dussen has been imprisoned in a Spanish prison for 11.5 years for three rapes that he didn't commit. DNA evidence shows that the crimes were committed by Englishman Mark Dixie, something that the Spanish authorities have been aware of since 2007.
