On Sunday, the police of The Hague arrested three men and a woman in connection with the discovery of a dead man early Sunday morning. The body was laying in the courtyard of an apartment complex in the Schilderswijk, the Hague.
Police suspect that the man was killed. The identity of the victim is not yet known.
The 47-year-old gunman who shot at three passers-by, from his home at the Pierre Kemp Street in Melick (Limburg) on Wednesday afternoon, was arrested by a SWAT team. The weapon he used was most probably an air gun. The man was transported handcuffed and blindfolded in a police car. During the raid by the SWAT team, shots were heard. The police, however, did not confirm a shooting during the arrest.
A member of the SWAT team was slightly injured and was treated on the spot by paramedics.
On Thursday evening, a gunshot victim was found on the roof of a burning gym in Groningen. The wounded man managed to call the police despite the injury.

On Thursday night, someone shot at one of the trains of the transportation company Arriva while it was on the route between Arnhem and Winterswijk near Wehl. This was reported by Omroep Gelderland. A window pane was damaged but nobody was injured.

On Monday evening the police shot and injured a man at the Orchideestraat in Almere.
The police had responded to a report of a threatening situation. When confonted, the man fled and was later found with a deadly weapon at the Orchideestraat. The situation was so threatening that the police had no choice but to shoot.
Nothing is known yet about the identity of the injured man nor the extent of his injuries. An air ambulance arrived at the scene for medical assistance. Then he was taken to a hospital by ambulance.

A 36-year-old man was shot and injured by police at the Almelo train station Sunday evening. The alleged robber was the subject of a manhunt that ended at the station.
Train traffic to and from Almelo (Overijssel) was shut down and part of the station was closed because of the shooting. The 36-year-old suspect does not have life threatening injuries.
The suspect, a man from Enschede, is accused of raiding an ice cream parlor "IJs en Zo" in the Wierdensestraat. He is said to have threatened two staff members with a knife and then fled with the loot towards the station.
