The Drenthe police are launching a new search for Willeke Dost, a then 15-year-old girl who disappeared from her foster parents' farm in Koekange in 1992. The police will dig in an area near the farm where witnesses say they saw digging around the time of the girl's disappearance, NOS reports.

A heavy glass plate fell on the head of a passerby at a train station in Oisterwijk on Tuesday morning. The man was taken to hospital with a major head injury. The glass plate weighs around 91 kilograms, according to the Telegraaf.
Two workers were replacing the glass plates, which are around five centimeters thick, on the top of the station's stairs. At around 11:00 a.m. one of the plates fell, and landed on the head of a man coming up the stairs.

A ghost tour in Best was cut short on Saturday evening after four underage girls were grabbed and molested by three adult men, the Oost-Brabant police confirmed to newspaper AD.
The victims, aged 12 to 17 years, were dressed in costumes and stood at the canal with another girl and two adults to frighten participants during the tour. At around 9:00 p.m. three men, aged around 25 years, came up to the group and grabbed the older girls' breasts and buttocks. The younger girls were also grabbed.
Mayor Carla Breuer of the municipality of Teylingen implemented an assembly ban for the area around the municipal harbor in the village of Warmond, the recreational island Koudenhoorn and the waters around it. This follows an explosion on a houseboat in the harbor on Sunday and several incidents of vandalism in the area over the past months, Omroep West reports.
The Amsterdam police found a real Kalashnikov, also known as an AK-47, offered for sale at RAI on Friday. The automatic weapon, which had been disabled, was offered as a collector's item, Het Parool reports.

A 23-year-old man from Dordrecth was stabbed to death in Breda during the early hours of Sunday morning. A 36-year-old man from Breda was arrested. The police believe the victim was a completely random target, based on witness statements and camera footage of the incident, NOS reports.
The incident happened on Adriaan van Bergenstraat at around 4:00 a.m. on Sunday. Responding officers found the young man bleeding heavily on the street. He was rushed to hospital, where he died a short time later.
A person was seriously injured in a "conflict" in a building on Burgemeester van Walsumlaan in Zwolle early on Monday morning, the police said on Twitter. The incident happened in a Salvation Army building, according to news wire ANP.

A 40-year-old police officer from the Zuid-West-Limburg district was arrested on Thursday on suspicion of computer intrusion and leaking police information, violation of official confidentiality, the Public Prosecutor announced.

A 66-year-old Dutch man was arrested in Kenya for sexually assaulting multiple underage girls in the African country. Hans V. is accused of "defiling" three girls, aged 8, 9, and 10 years, in 2016, the Kenyan police said on Twitter.
