A 24-year-old Moroccan man was arrested in the south of France on suspicion of stabbing a 44-year-old man to death on C.J.K. van Aaltstraat in Amsterdam in September. The man will be extradited to the Netherlands this week, Het Parool reports.
Two men from Hengelo were arrested on Monday on suspicion of involvement in the murder of four men in Enschede earlier this month. The two are also suspected of a serious violent crime committed in Hengelo, the police said in a statement.
The incident in Hengelo happened on November 7th. A man was assaulted, threatened with a firearm and shots were fired, the police said. The suspects are 32 and 57 years old. They were arrested in a house in Hengelo and on the A1 near Enter.
A 14-year-old boy's hand got injured when his Zandvoort home was shot at. He was asleep in bed at the time. The police are looking for witnesses, Het Parool reports.
It is not clear whether the boy was hit by a bullet, or hurt by something else like shattering glass.

A man died on the A50 highway near Wolfheze during the early hours of Monday morning. The man survived a car crash, only to be hit by a truck after he got out of the wreck, he Telegraaf reports.
The man's car crashed into a guardrail at around 1:00 a.m. The car eventually came to a stop in the middle of the highway. Bystanders helped the man out of the car. The man then walked across the highway, and was run over by a truck. He died at the scene.
The highway in the direction of Arnhem was closed until 4:30 a.m.
Emergency services in Leiden rescued two students from a construction crane during the early hours of Monday morning. The two young men were stuck in the crane on a construction site on Wassenaarsweg. Passersby reported them to the police at around 1:30 a.m., NU.nl reports.
Why they climbed into the crane, and why they couldn't get back down themselves, is not clear. Both the police and fire brigade responded to the scene. The street was closed down.
Two men were injured in a shooting in a home on Amerstraat in Breda on Saturday. Mayor Paul Depla ordered the home locked down on Sunday after an amount of soft drugs was also found in the home, ANP reports.
An accident between a car and a delivery van left one person dead and at least three hurt in Tilburg on Monday morning, according to the police. Emergency services are currently working to free two people who are stuck in the delivery van, ANP reports.
The accident happened at the crossing of Burgemeester Letchertweg and Midden-Brabantweg on Monday morning. The cause of the accident is not yet clear.
The police closed the road for trace evidence investigation.
A 24-year-old in Amsterdam maybe took the term money laundering too literally. The police found 350 thousand euros in cash in his washing machine. He was arrested on suspicion of money laundering, Het Parool reports.
The money was found while the police searched the home on Oeverpad in Amsterdam Nieuw-West, which is supposed to be vacant according to municipal records. The suspect was in the home at the time and arrested.
In addition to the cash, the police also found a firearm, money counting machines and a number of mobile phones.
Skeletal remains found in a forested area in Hummelo last week, were identified as Ger Homma, a homeless man who went missing in April 2010. At the time of his disappearance, Homma was living at The Passion, a shelter for homeless people located across the road from where his remains were found, De Gelderlander reports.
The police must conduct digital investigations more often in cases where child sex abuse is suspected, the National Rapporteur on Human Trafficking and Sexual Abuse Against Children said in a new report. "The police do a lot of digital research in online cases, such as child pornography, but with physical sexual abuse that is not yet standard", Rapporteur Herman Bolhaar said. A third of child sexual abuse cases are dropped due to a lack of evidence. That's about 500 cases a year, NOS reports.

An explosive was found at a nightclub on Van der Hagenstraat in Zoetermeer on Wednesday evening, the police said on Twitter. Defense's explosive disposal team dismantled it on site.
The police closed down the area around the club at around 9:30 p.m., according to ANP. The Defense team removed the explosive from the site after making sure it would not detonate.
