The police cleared protesting students out of the University of Amsterdam's P.C. Hoofdhuis building on Friday evening. A total of 30 students were arrested for trespassing - they were not allowed inside the building. All of them were released from custody again on Saturday evening, NU.nl reports.
The police are investigating two large explosions in homes in Eindhoven and Best early on Saturday morning. In both cases explosives were thrown into the homes. No one was injured, but a large amount of damage was caused, ANP reports.
One person died in a fire at healthcare center Hof van Batestein complex in Vianen on Monday morning. The fire started in a room on the third floor at around 4:30 a.m. Firefighters found the victim in the room after extinguishing the fire, NOS reports.
The fire department quickly got the fire under control. Due to smoke, the residents of other rooms on the third floor were evacuated.
The cause of the fire is not yet clear. The police and fire department are investigating.
A 25-year-old woman was found killed in an apartment on Goudbaard in Bergen op Zoom during the early hours of Saturday morning. Her 4-year-old son was found crying next to her. Firefighters found a body while fighting a fire in a building container on Achtseweg Zuid in Eindhoven during the early hours of Friday morning. The identity of the victim and cause of death are still under investigation, RTL Nieuws reports.
"During the extinguishing they found a body", a spokesperson for the police confirmed to the broadcaster. "We do not yet know what happened and are keeping all options open. We are investigating what happened and whether it was a crime."

Seven men arrested on Thursday were "already a long way" into their plans to commit a terrorist attack in the Netherlands, according to Minister Ferdinand Grapperhaus of Justice and Security. "It is very intense that there are people walking around who have this planned for us", he said to RTL Nieuws.
"This is intense, but also good news", Grapperhaus said. "The police and the Public Prosecutor followed the men very closely. They were looking for AK47s and bomb belts, really terribly dangerous stuff."

Rodechelies is in good health. The police will release no further information about this case, to protect the girl's privacy.
A body was found in the woods on Wolfhezerweg in the Gelderland village of Wolfheze on Wednesday morning, the police said on Twitter. Whether the person was killed in a crime, is not yet clear.

A 22-year-old man from Zoetermeer was arrested in The Hague on Wednesday afternoon for threats. Witnesses reported to the police that he was standing at a car with a hissing gas bottle, shouting 'Allahu Akbar'. His motive is not clear. A fundraiser was launched on Friday for the victims of a fatal railway accident in Oss on Thursday morning. By Sunday over 200 thousand euros had been raised, ANP reports.
