Amsterdam is heading for a left-wing-progressive municipal council. GroenLinks, D66, PvdA and SP are starting negotiations on forming a coalition on Tuesday, Het Parool reports.
PvdA leaders Diederik Samsom and Hans Spekman will not be prosecuted for hate speech on statements they made about Moroccans, the court in Amsterdam ruled on Tuesday. The PVV asked the court to compel the Public Prosecutor to prosecute them for group insult and incitement to discrimination against people because of their race, the Volkskrant reports.
The Public Prosecutor will not be prosecuting Gelderland PVV leader and Senator Marjolein Faber for inciting hatred and discrimination. PVV leader Geert Wilders has announced the names of his candidates for the Eerste Kamer (Senate). The list includes Gidi Markuszower, who was on the PVV list for the national elections in 2010, but was then removed after information from the General Intelligence and Security Service (AIVD), Volkskrant reports.
The son of PVV politician Marjolein Faber managed the PVV's parliamentary website on behalf of the next PVV senate leader, RTL reports. Earlier, Faber was discredited for hiring her son to work on PVV Gelderland's website, but party leader Geert Wilders never forced her to resign.

Marjolein Faber became the leader of the PVV in the First Chamber elections. Faber has been in the Senate since 2011 and has been faction chairman since June last year. She is also the faction leader in the Provincial Council of Gelderland and is known as an anti-Islamist.
