Two of four men killed in a one-sided accident on the A1 highway on Monday morning, played for football club A.V.V. Columbia in Apeldoorn. The club is "shocked and baffled" by their deaths, A.V.V. Columbia said in a statement on their website.

The Enschede city council agreed to a support plan for FC Twente to prevent the football club from going bankrupt. The council agreed to write off part of the municipal loan to the club, and to convert another part of the loan into a subordinated loan on which no interest or repayment has to be paid. The condition to this agreement is that FC Twente returns its youth- and women's teams from Hengelo to Enschede as soon as possible, AD reports.
A 43-year-old man from Veere was arrested on Wednesday evening for assault. The suspect was a linesman at a girls' under 15 football match in Koudekerke and headbutted a supporter after he made a comment on one of the referee's decisions, the police said in a statement.
The police were called right after the assault happened. The referee stopped the match. Responding officers spoke to the victim and a number of witnesses.
"Based on these statements, the 43-year-old suspect was arrested at his home", the police said. The arrest happened at around 8:45 p.m.
Over a hundred solar panels were stolen from football club SV de Vecht in the Utrecht town of Loenen aan de Vecht. The solar panels were taken from the club building on Rijksstraatweg last week. The club reported the theft to the police, RTV Utrecht reports.
The board of Haarlem football club Geel-Wit expelled a linesman who knocked a goalkeeper from another football club unconscious on Saturday, the club announced on its website. "With this, Geel-Wit clearly indicates that we completely disapprove of aggression, in whatever form, on and off the field", the club said in a short statement.

The 34-year-old man from Haarlem was one of the officials during a match between Hoofddorp club VV UNO and S.V. Geel-Wit, a team from Haarlem. He was also a player for one of the Haarlem team's squads.

The vandalism was committed in green and yellow paint - the colors of football club ADO. 'JHK' was spray painted on multiple walls and tram stops. According to the newspaper, 'JHK' is short for 'Joden Hebben Kanker', or 'Jews have cancer' in English. Ajax fans are often called 'Jews', a nickname they embraced.
A 22-year-old man from Etten-Leur was arrested on Sunday night for threatening a 15-year-old boy with a gun. The man threatened the teenager after he scored a goal during a five to five game on Hobodreef in the Noord-Brabant town, the Telegraaf reports.

The Penta College in Spijkenisse and the Spijkenisse football association suspended a number of teenagers due to an assault on another teenager. Videos of the assault were shared on social media on Monday night. The videos show a boy being attacked by a group of other teenagers.
The attack happened on Friday, according to NOS. The 14-year-old victim sustained a broken nose, a torn earlobe and multiple bruises. The police since arrested five underage boys from Spijkenisse. One of the young suspects' home is getting extra protection as a precaution.
The Netherlands will play against Germany in one of its qualifying matches for the UEFA Euro 2020. UEFA announced the groups for the qualifiers on Sunday. The Netherlands drew Germany, Northern Ireland, Estonia and Belarus.
The qualifiers will start on March 21st next year. The top two teams from each of the ten groups will qualify. An additional play-off will then determine the four remaining teams who will play in the tournament.

Five people were arrested after a brawl between Dutch and German football supporters on Spegelgracht in Amsterdam on Saturday. Three Dutch and two Germans were arrested based on camera footage, NH Nieuws reports.
The brawl happened at cafe Hans en Grietje. "The two parties, I estimate around 40, 50 started hitting each other. I first saw cans of beer flying through the air, but soon it became chairs and tables", a cafe employee said to the newspaper.
The riot police had to intervene and break up the fight. The cafe sustained damage, but opened as usual on Sunday.
The second day of the General Political Considerations, the parliamentary debate on the government's plans and budget for the next year, started on Friday morning with parliamentarians briefly commemorating four children who were killed in a railway accident in Oss on Thursday morning, NOS reports.
A 13-year-old boy died in 's-Heerenberg in Gelderland on Saturday after he hit his head hard in a collision with another football player on the field. The boy was a youth player for football club MvR, NOS reports.
The young keeper collapsed after the collision and stopped breathing. Bystanders provided first aid while emergency services responded. The boy was rushed to hospital with a serious brain injury. He died in hospital later in the day.
The football club held a meeting for players and parents on Saturday afternoon, and canceled all of its matches on Sunday.
