Travelers around the world seem to be having trouble checking in for flights on Thursday. Air France, KLM, British Airways, Qantas, Vueling and a number of American airlines are among those reporting problems, AD reports.

The trouble started around 11:30 a.m., Dutch time. Exactly what the problem is, is not yet clear. Though it may stem from a network failure at Amadeus Altea - an aviation service provider that provides the flight booking system for around 125 airlines. Amadeus announced that its systems will be restarted as soon as possible.

From the 9th of July, traveling by train in the Netherlands will no longer be possible with a paper train ticket. Whoever wants to travel by train will have to do so using the OV-chip card.
