The Fidesz party of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban broke ties with the CDA. Over the weekend the CDA adopted a motion to remove its Hungarian sister party from the European People's Party (EPP) in the European Parliament, which both parties belong to, if the Hungarians do not keep to European standards and values. Research by RTL Nieuws revealed that this pedophile manual has been available on the dark web for over 10 years. The book is actively shared on forums for pedophiles and supplemented with new tips, experiences and advice. The police confirmed to the broadcaster that the book was used by various Dutch pedophiles.

Parties in at least Maastricht, Venray, Beek, and Zeewolde demanded that the votes in the municipal elections on Wednesday be recounted, NU.nl reports. 

In principle, votes are only recounted if mistakes were made or there is evidence of fraud. In all four these cases, parties want the votes recounted over the division of city council seats - the difference between two parties in each municipality is so minimal that an extra vote or two could mean an extra seat.

In Maastricht, the D66 is two votes short of an extra seat.

With 97 percent of votes counted, it is clear that local parties received the most votes in the municipal elections on Wednesday. The VVD and CDA are neck-on-neck to become the biggest national party, with the liberals leading by a hair, according to ANP's election service.

The results for 7,500 council seats are known so far, NU.nl reports. 55 percent of voters voted in the municipal election, a slightly higher turnout compared to 54 percent in the previous municipal elections four years ago.

A 29-year-old woman from Raalte received dozens of sexual messages and photos from a CDA city councilor in the Overijssel town. The councilor in question, Robert Vloedgraven, decided to withdraw as candidate councilor for the CDA in Raalte, he announced on Wednesday, De Stentor reports.

"Pictures of himself and also of his genitals, messages asking whether I'm shaved below and that I have big breasts. That kind of messages", the woman said to RTV Oost on Tuesday. She did not like the sexting, but found it hard to say no due to an anxiety disorder, she said.
