The former leader of motorcycle gang No Surrender, Klaas Otto, was arrested from his bed in Bergen op Zoom on Friday morning, his lawyer Louis de Leon confirmed to Omroep Brabant. This arrest comes only four days after he was released from custody on Monday. His righthand man Janus de V. was also arrested, according to the broadcaster.
The police released surveillance camera footage of a gay couple being assaulted on the Ruijterkade in Amsterdam in October last year. Investigators hope that information from the public may lead to the perpetrators being arrested, they said on Opsporing Verzocht on Tuesday.
On Tuesday the Supreme Court sentenced kickboxer Badr Hari to two years in prison, 10 months conditionally suspended. The Dutch kickboxer was found guilty of various assaults, including that of now deceased businessman Koen Everink at Sensation White in Amsterdam in 2012. After Hari's time in custody is subtracted from the sentence, he still has to spend about 6 months in jail, NU.nl reports.
Six underage kids were arrested at Amsterdam Central Station on Sunday evening on suspicion of assaulting a fellow passenger in a stationary subway train. The victim was injured in the face and knee, Het Parool reports.
The assault happened around 8:30 p.m. on subway 54, which travels to Gein. The victim was assaulted by seven attackers. Six of them were arrested, with the aid of GVB personnel. The suspects are between the ages of 14 and 16 years, all from Amsterdam Zuidoost.
The police are still looking for a seventh suspect, a 20-year-old man.
Four supporters of Tilburg football club Willem II were sentenced to community service and up to three months in prison by the court in Breda on Monday. They were found guilty of assaulting two Feyenoord supporters during a match between the two clubs on October 2nd last year. During the match in Tilburg, one of the Feyenoord fans was thrown over the stadium railings, NU.nl reports.

Authorities in Cambodia released 53-year-old Dutch man Stefan S., held in connection with the assault and alleged sexual abuse of a toddler. Graphic videos showing a naked toddler shocked with an electric candle prod, and further abuse, led to the arrests of S., and two of his Cambodian workers, named 28-year-old Ret Sothy and 25-year-old Oeu Nat, according to the Cambodia Daily.
Sothy and Nat were also released. The Dutch man’s presumed boyfriend, Nguyen Thanh Dung, 25, was arrested Wednesday night in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. He is still in custody.
An 18-year-old man sustained a broken cheekbone when he and his boyfriend were attacked by a group of young people in Amsterdam early on Saturday morning. According to the police, the attack was not an anti-gay hate crime, Het Parool reports.
The couple was walking along the Spiegelgracht around 4:00 a.m. on Saturday morning when a group of young people shouted "homo" at them. The couple responded to the insult by approaching the group, according to the newspaper.
The police are still looking for a man who tried to kidnap a baby in Arnhem on Wednesday. According to the police, the man assaulted the baby's mother in her home on Johan de Wittlaan and then took off with the child.
When the police arrived at the scene, the baby was back at the home and the attempted kidnapper had run off.
According to the mother, the kidnapper is the baby's father. Newspaper AD managed to talk to her from a safe house. She says that the man had the 3 month old boy with him for about an hour and a half before returning him.

A 37-year-old man was arrested in Rotterdam on Sunday afternoon for assaulting his ex and abductin their 2-year-old child, AD reports.
The Rotterdam police responded to a call from a 32-year-old woman around 7:30 a.m. on Sunday. She told the police that her ex assaulted her in her home on Oldegaarde and took their child.
At the scene police officers found the woman with "signficant injuries".
A manhunt was immediately launched as the man does not have custody of the child. The man and child was found in a home on Watergeusstraat in the early afternoon.
