A 45-year-old man from Nijkerkerveen caused chaos on the A1 highway near Voorst on Friday. According to the police, he swerved across the lanes, hitting the guardrails on both sides of the highway, and also ran across the busy road. His antics caused a traffic jam, RTL Nieuws reports.
After swerving across all lanes of the highway, the man took an exit to a petrol station. He jumped out his car and ran shouting into the gas station. When the officers arrived at the gas station, they identified the man as a suspect wanted for a theft in Deventer.
Two brothers from Utrecht and a woman from Alphen aan den Rijn were arrested on for financing terrorism. They sent money to three men suspected of joining terrorist organizations in Syria and Iraq. The three jihadists are the brothers of the two Utrecht men, and the woman used to date one of them, NOS reports.
The police arrested a 17-year-old boy from Almelo on Wednesday on suspicion of involvement in a "serious sex crime" that was committed in the vicinity of Kolthofsingel during the early morning hours of May 30th. Exactly what crime the boy is suspected of involvement in, the police did not say.
A 48-year-old person was the victim of the sex crime. An extensive trace evidence investigation was done at and around the scene, and sniffer dogs were used to search for traces.

The police arrested three suspects on Wednesday in connection with recent attacks in Delft. The three are suspected of involvement in a shooting on Peperstraat, hand grenades exploding on Peperstraat and Breestraat, and a shooting on Beestenmarkt. A quarrel between neighbors got completely out of hand in Venlo on Monday night. A man stabbed his neighbor with a knife, who then came outside with a firearm and shot his assailant, the police said in a statement.
The incident happened around 8:30 p.m. on Pieter Breughelstraat. A trauma helicopter was deployed to the scene. Both men were taken to hospital by ambulance. Their current condition is unknown.

On Wednesday the police raided a home on Heistraat in Eindhoven after receiving a report that the resident was trying to sell explosives on Marktplaats. In the home officers found grenades, an aircraft bomb and a rocket. The resident was arrested, Omroep Brabant reports.

The driver of a stolen car crashed into two police cars while being chased through Tilburg on Wednesday evening. He also tried to hit a motorcycle officer with the car. The chase ended when the car thief hit a tree. The 28-year-old man from Tilburg was arrested, Brabants Dagblad reports.
The police chased the man through Tilburg Zuid. The chase ended at the junction Ringbaan Zuid and Winkler Prinsstraat. Officers had to use pepper spray on the man before being able to arrest him. The suspect was taken to a police station and the stolen car was confiscated.

A 46-year-old man was shot and killed in a liquor store on Riederlaan in the Rotterdam neighborhood of Hillesluis on Saturday evening. The shooting happened after a fight on the street, NOS reports.
The incident happened just before 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. A group of people, including the victim and the shooter, got into a fight in front of the liquor store. At one point the quarrel moved inside and the victim was shot.
A man who caused unrest in Schiedam by waving an ax around on Wednesday afternoon, likely suffered from psychosis, Schiedam mayor Cor Lamers said to Radio Rijnmond. The 26-year-old Syrian man was arrested after he killed a police dog, and a member of the SWAT team shot him in the leg.
