Seven men arrested on Thursday were "already a long way" into their plans to commit a terrorist attack in the Netherlands, according to Minister Ferdinand Grapperhaus of Justice and Security. The police found multiple weapons, including an air pistol, two knives, and a hatchet on a 16-year-old boy arrested for a shooting at the KEC school in Roermond on Friday morning, the police confirmed to 1Limburg.
The boy entered the school on Hillenraedtstraat at around 8:30 a.m. with his arsenal. He fired multiple shots, both inside and outside the school building. No one was injured.
