A 56-year-old man was arrested in Soest on Tuesday in connection with a missing person case. The police are performing investigations in a home in the city, RTL Nieuws reports.
Thus far the police refused to say what missing person case the man was arrested for, or what his suspected involvement is.
A forensic team was seen entering the home and a forensic investigation container was placed in the street, according to the broadcaster.
A burning car crashed on the A1 at the Embrugge exit after a high-speed chase from Naarden early on Monday morning. A woman, believed to be the driver of the car, was arrested, AD reports.
The accident happened after a wild chase on the highway. The Amsterdam police noticed the car, a BMW, because it was speeding and swerving wildly across the road. When the driver spotted the police, the car sped up to 250 kilometers per hour and the police gave chase.

A 24-year-old man was caught trading weapons from within the psychiatric prison in Heiloo. He was arrested last week. The man, Herman D. from Ermelo, had three cellphones and a laptop with him from which he ran his business, the Telegraaf reports.
The laptop and phones were found in the suspect's room in Heiloo, sources told the newspaper. In 2017, D. was sentenced to a short prison sentence and institutionalized psychiatric treatment, because he stabbed three men in Nieuw-Vennep, the man's lawyer confirmed to the newspaper.
A jeweler in Kesteren, Gelderland, was robbed by three armed people on Thursday morning. The owner of the jewelry store was injured. The police arrested one suspect, and launched a manhunt for the other two, the Telegraaf reports.
A bystander managed to grab one of the robbers when he came running out of the jewelry store, according to the newspaper. The police arrested the man. Multiple pieces of jewelry were found lying on the street.

A group of around 30 people jumped out of a truck on the A2 highway near Gronsveld in Limburg on Thursday morning. They then fled on foot into the Maastricht neighborhoods, the police said.
The people jumped out of the truck at around 8:45 a.m. The group consists of adults and children, a police spokesperson said to NU.nl. A number of them are barefoot. A 31-year-old woman from Rotterdam was arrested with her 5-month-old baby in Istanbul on Friday. The woman and baby are currently detained in a prison in the Turkish capital. She is suspected of belonging to a terrorist organization, RTL Nieuws reports.

A bus hit a lamppost on Stadshoudersweg in Rotterdam on Wednesday after one of the passengers assaulted the bus driver. It is still unclear why the man attacked the woman driving the bus, the police said. She did not sustain serious injuries. None of the passengers were hurt, RTL Nieuws reports.
According to Rotterdam public transit service RET, the man attacked the driver after he asked her question. "She answered his question and got a slap in the face and a punch in the stomach", a spokesperson said to the broadcaster. "She was so shocked that she hit a lamppost."
One of the three people suspected of tying Ger van Zundert up in a garage box in Breda on Monday night and then setting him on fire, turned himself in to the police on Tuesday. The 51-year-old man from Breda was arrested, the police said. The police are still looking for two other suspects.
A flight attendant was stopped by police at Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam on Tuesday under suspicion of consuming too much alcohol. The 26-year-old purser was already on board a foreign airline’s plane when he was confronted by authorities, police said.
Police subjected the suspect to a breath analysis, which came back with a reading of 260 micrograms per liter of breath. Authorities converted this to the stricter blood alcohol concentration of .06, which is three times the legal limit for aircraft personnel.
Four young people were injured in a stabbing incident on Paxlaan in Hoofddorp on Monday afternoon. One suspect was arrested. Another man fled after the stabbing, NU.nl reports.
The stabbing happened at around 4:45 p.m. The police believe it was a fight between two groups of young people that got out of hand. One of them had a knife and started stabbing people around him.

On Saturday night the police arrested a father and son on suspicion of committing assaults near the Al Hijra Mosque in Waddinxveen. The two suspects were under the influence of alcohol at the time, a police spokesperson said to newspaper AD.
According to the board of Stichting Islamistische Moskee Alhijra, the men insulted, threatened and assaulted mosque visitors. Multiple people were injured, the board said to AD. The police said one person was injured, according to the newspaper.

The Amsterdam police arrested suspects at various locations on Monday morning in the ongoing investigation into an attack on the building housing newspaper De Telegraaf in June last year. More details will be released during the course of the day, the police said on Twitter.

A 43-year-old man from Veere was arrested on Wednesday evening for assault. The suspect was a linesman at a girls' under 15 football match in Koudekerke and headbutted a supporter after he made a comment on one of the referee's decisions, the police said in a statement.
The police were called right after the assault happened. The referee stopped the match. Responding officers spoke to the victim and a number of witnesses.
"Based on these statements, the 43-year-old suspect was arrested at his home", the police said. The arrest happened at around 8:45 p.m.
A minor suspect was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting in Almelo on Wednesday afternoon. During the arrest, he managed to grab one of the police officers' firearm. The police quickly managed to take the gun back from the boy, NU.nl reports.
The boy had been worked to the ground by supermarket staff. He then tried to hurt himself by banging his head on the ground, the police said. When officers tried to help the boy to his feet, he violently resisted and a struggle ensued. It was during this struggle that he grabbed the cop's gun.
