A massive shipment fish that the Rotterdam police seized in a drug bust last month, is being donated to zoos and aquariums in the Netherlands, the Public Prosecutor announced. It involves thousands of kilograms of hake and cod that were used to hide 1,125 kilograms of cocaine from Ecuador.
On Wednesday the police arrested a man from Tilburg suspected of putting rat poison in his neighbor's kiddie pool. He did so because the sounds of the playing children annoyed him, a community police officer wrote on Instagram.
The man lives in the Reeshof district and was arrested in his home. He will appear in court at a later date.
According to Omroep Brabant, the man is suspected of aggravated assault or attempts thereto and vandalism.

Two men were arrested in Rotterdam on June 17th on suspicion of planning attacks in the Netherlands and France, the Public Prosecutor announced on Monday. A woman was stabbed to death in the Noord-Brabant village of Hoogerheide on Tuesday morning. A man was arrested at the scene.
Emergency services responded to the home on Binnenweg at around 7:45 a.m., after the stabbing was reported to the police. First responders tried to resuscitate the victim, but it was to no avail. She died at the scene.
The resident of the home was found nearby. He was arrested on suspicion of involvement in the fatal stabbing. He is in custody for questioning.

A man was arrested for human trafficking on the N65 near Oisterwijk on Sunday night. He had an Eritrean woman and her two young children in the van with him, Omroep Brabant reports.
A witness noticed something wrong with the van's license plates at around 10:00 p.m. on Sunday and called the police. A patrolling police car was in the area and pulled the van over. The number plates turned out to be falsified.
