An Australian father of three children who were killed in the MH17 disaster condemned Unites States president Donald Trump for refusing to hold Russia and president Vladimir Putin to account for the tragedy. On Facebook Anthony Maslin pointed out some "irrefutable facts" about the disaster to Trump on Tuesday - the 4th anniversary of the Malaysia Airlines plane being shot down.

The 25th anniversary of an El Al cargo plane crashing into two apartment buildings in Bijlmermeer, was commemorated in Amsterdam-Zuidoost on Wednesday. The accident killed 39 local residents and the four crew members on the plane.
The city of Amsterdam renamed the Westerkerk tram stop to the Homo-Monument stop for Tuesday, the 30th birthday of the monument on Westermarkt. On September 5th, 1987 the Homo-Monument was unveiled. According to the municipality, it was the first gay monument in public space in the world, NU.nl reports.

Heineken's biggest brewery turned 40 years old this month. The brewery is responsible for production of Heineken and Amstel for domestic and international consumption. The current production capacity of the factory is 1.35 billion liters per year, according to a feature in AD.
The memorial center Camp Westerbork will celebrate its 30th year on Friday. The memorial center at the former transit camp of the Nazis was opened on April 12, 1983 by Queen Beatrix. During the war, 107,000 Jews and Gypsies were deported from Westerbork, but 102,000 did not return.
