A 31-year old man and a 38-year-old women have been arrested after leading police on a dangerous car chase through Amsterdam center on Tuesday night. Police were called to the scene after receiving word that a 43-year-old woman was robbed in her car at gunpoint on Keizergracht at 7:40 p.m.

Amsterdam club The Sand has to be closed indefinitely after a man was shot and killed on the premises on Friday night. These orders come from Amsterdam's Mayor Eberhard van der Laan on Saturday. Police say that there were around 2000 people inside the club at the time of the incident, and are looking for witnesses to come forward, Het Parool reports.
