A British teenager residing in Heraklion, Crete was detained for trafficking hallucinogenic mushrooms through an organized operation by prosecution officials.
An investigation team is investigating the death of a 27-year-old woman from Ermelo since Wednesday. Her body was found floating in the water of the Nieuwe Vecht on Sunday, near Zwolle. The police investigation in the next few days will include a thorough trace evidence in the vicinity of the site where the body was found, a police spokesman said on Wednesday.
A passerby saw a package floating near a houseboat in the Nieuwe Vecht and called the police. It turned out to be a body wrapped in plastic.Therefore it was immediately clear for the police that this was a crime.
The police closed on Tuesday five cannabis nurseries in Veendam, Wildervank and Oude Pekela. In total eleven people were arrested by the police.

On Sunday, the police of The Hague arrested three men and a woman in connection with the discovery of a dead man early Sunday morning. The body was laying in the courtyard of an apartment complex in the Schilderswijk, the Hague.
Police suspect that the man was killed. The identity of the victim is not yet known.

Diplomats who don’t pay their traffic and parking fines should not be able to keep their CD registration. This is a plea of CDA MP Peter Omtzigt and The Hague councilor Cees Flitter (CDA). It is according to the CDA politicians the best solution to force the diplomats to pay their fines, reported the AD.

Two people were wounded in a conflict in a festival tent in Wildervank, including one of the quarrelers, but also a 37-year-old man from Stadskanaal who wanted to appease the situation. In Leeuwarden, a 19-year-old boy hit several people. Why he did so, is not clear. He opposed to his arrest and went hand coughed to the hospital.
Prostitution boats at the Utrecht Zandpad have to close on Thirsday. Window Operator Wegra had asked the court in Utrecht to come back on the decision of the municipality to close the boats. However, the administrative judge rejected that request.
The boats have to be closed on Thursday morning at 9:00am because Wegra would be involved in human trafficking. For the same reason Utrecht closed previously boats of two other operators.
The closure of the boats puts 200 women out of a job. At Wegra about 28 jobs are at risk.
At a cemetery in Borne, Twente, 17 graves have been destroyed. The police reported this on Wednesday.
A day earlier a witness reported that there was someone stealing items from the graves. The police could not find the man, but research showed on Wednesday that there were 17 graves damaged. Presumably, copper and bronze statues were stolen from these graves.
