A 64-year-old man who was critically injured in a shooting on Willem Ruyslaan in Rotterdam on October 17th, succumbed to his injuries on Thursday, the police said in a statement.

An explosive was found after an ATM bombing in the Overijssel town of Schalkhaar at around 3:10 a.m. on Friday. The buildings around the Rabobank ATM on Lindeboomsweg were evacuated. This is the second ATM bombing in the municipality of Deventer in two days, De Stentor reports.
The blast destroyed the facade of the building where the ATM is located, according to the newspaper.

Arson may be involved in a fire on cruise ship AidaNova in Groningen's Eemshaven on Wednesday morning. The police started an investigation into the cause of the fire, at the request of the captain, RTV Noord reports.

The police found what they believe is a hand grenade at Bijlmerplein in Amsterdam during the early hours of Thursday morning. They responded to the scene around 4:00 a.m. after a report of shots being fired, the Amsterdam police said on Twitter.

The Amsterdam police found a hand grenade in front of an hotel on Korte van Eeghenstraat, near one of the entrances to Vondelpark, during the early hours of Wednesday morning. The Ministry of Defense's explosive disposal department dismantled and removed the device, the police said in a statement.
A hotel employee heard a noise at the hotel's front door around 2:30 a.m., according to the police. When he went outside to check what was going on, he found the grenade.

The body of a man was found on Oosterstraat in the city of Groningen during the early hours of Wednesday morning. The police are investigating the man's identity and cause of death, and call on witnesses to come forward.
The body was reported to the police around 3:15 a.m. The area where the man was found was closed down as a crime scene, the Groningen police said on Twitter.
"We do not yet know what happened and who it concerns. If you have information that may be of interest to us, please let us know", the police said.

Six Amsterdam taxi drivers were arrested during the early hours of Sunday morning for driving under the influence of drugs. The police had a total of 55 taxi drivers take a drug test. The six arrested drivers were taken to a police station for a blood test, NOS reports.
The blood samples were sent to the Netherlands Forensic Institute to confirm whether the drivers were really under the influence of drugs. What drugs they are suspected of using, was not disclosed.
