A sailing out pilot has found 200 kilos of cocaine in the Westerschelde (Zeeland). The drugs were packed into ten sports bags which were attached with ropes to empty jerrycans, to keep them afloat. This was reported by the National Office of the Public Prosecution (OM) on Tuesday.
The discovery was done on Saturday morning. The drug packages floated in the Westerschelde near Vlissingen. According to the OM, the cocaine has a market value of about 7 million euro.
