Sunny Wednesday to give way to clouds by evening
Wednesday will be sunny and dry in most places, but cloud fields will move into the country towards the end of the afternoon. The rest of the week and weekend will be at least partly cloudy with rain expected over the weekend, according to meteorological institute KNMI.
Maximums on Wednesday will range from 11 degrees in the northwestern coastal areas to 15 degrees in the south. The southwest wind will be moderate.
Overnight will be mostly cloudy, especially in the east. The southwest of the country may see some rain. The clouds may clear up in the northwest, in which case fog banks may occur. Minimums will range between freezing in the northwest and 6 degrees Celsius in the southwest.
Thursday will start out with cloud fields and maybe some light rain. The clouds will clear up somewhat from the west during the course of the day, and there may be some room for sunshine. Maximums will range between 10 degrees in the Wadden area to 14 degrees in the east and south.
The rest of the week and weekend will see a mix of clouds and sun. Rain and cooler temperatures are expected for Saturday.
