Boy, 8, abducted from Eindhoven found in Barcelona

An 8-year-old boy who was kidnapped by his father in Eindhoven in June, was found in Barcelona. The child is currently in the care of the Spanish foster system while awaiting his return to the Netherlands. One suspect was arrested, NU.nl reports.

The boy's father is still nowhere to be found, the Spanish police and Dutch Public Prosecutor reported. The child was found in a home in Spain with someone else. This person was arrested.

The child was walking down an Eindhoven street with his mother in June last year, when he was grabbed by his father and an accomplice and put in a car. They drove off with the boy.
