Three hurt in Tilburg brawl, stabbing

A brawl turned into a stabbing on Korhoenstraat in Tilburg on Wednesday night. Three people sustained serious injuries. They were taken to hospital with stab wounds, according to the police.

Witnesses told Omroep Brabant that the atmosphere on Korhoenstraat was "very grim". Windows were broken and cars were damaged. The police responded to the scene around midnight, after which things calmed down.

The police are investigating exactly what happened. "The expectation is that this will take some time", a spokesperson said to the broadcaster.
